El Fogon Montanes is an incredible restaurant. It serves very delicious food in huge portions for very affordable prices. I chose filet mignon -- two filets of rich beef (300g) with guacamole and fries for, if I remember correctly, 180. My husband ordered barbecue and a mountain of delicious meat arrived, of which we took more than half home to devour the next day. The barbecue is also sold for a reasonable price. Our son ate the carnitas, also very delicious and in a huge portion and his girlfriend ate huaraches al pastor, equally delicious and with a copious portion. The place is attractive and pleasant and the service impeccable. There is no doubt that we will return. Highly recommended!
We were in a group of 5 and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. You can not go wrong with a Quesadilla. My sister had Tacos Al Pastor con Queso, they were very good! I had beef streak Tacos also very good!
It is very tasty and well served. They leave the Basilica of Guadalupe one block on the left on the corner of the second place. Be careful because there are many boys who, if they realize that they are tourists, are Rappers and they do not enter the Basilica. There is very good security. the National Guard and there is parking below the basilica and a block away is a food market. I hired a driver all day from picking me up at the airport and visiting various places. If Hakguien is interested, ask me and I will give them his name and telephone number.
Tortas are worth it. Can feed 2 people, or 1 really hungry person. Chicken was juicy. Came during slow time.

Wonderful rotisserie chicken hot from the oven! The whole chicken and sides are more than enough for 2 people but my husband and I were too hungry today and we ate them all! My favorite meal in the whole Guadalupe trip of 4 days.
